This final concert of the 2016-17 season features the winner of the DCS Youth Competition, cellist Sasha He, performing Elgar’s Cello Concerto in E Minor. Dmitri Shostakovich’s Festival Overture opens the program, which also includes César Franck’s symphonic poem, Psyche and Eros, and the Swan Lake Ballet Suite by Peter Tchaikovsky.
